The 2026 Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA) National Convention will be held from Friday, July 31st to Sunday, August 2nd in Chicago, IL. The theme of the 2026 Convention will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Convention is our annual, democratic gathering during which chapter Delegates debate and decide on the critical issues of our movement. During the Convention we pass resolutions, modify our constitution, and — of critical importance — select the next year’s National Coordinating Committee (YDSA’s highest elected leadership). Lodging
YDSA will have a discounted hotel room block and attendees can split rooms up to four ways to save on costs. The hotel booking link is sent to elected Delegates after their chapter submits their election results and after they complete the registration form.
Scholarships
DSA offers limited scholarships for attendees who cannot travel or attend the Convention without support. More information and the scholarship application will be available soon.
